End of World War II. The United States defeated Japan with the use of the atomic bomb. In a difficult climate of resettlement, the yakuza organizes a boxing match inviting an American boxer to fight against a local athlete in front of cameras from all over the world. The clamor of the event quickly threatens to overwhelm both spirits of the men who will find themselves representing their entire countries.
